Returning to blogging

She's Beautiful When She's Angry (Image taken from

After a very long hiatus from contributing to this blog, I am determined to review many films in the coming month.

I am attending the Melbourne International Film Festival in August and have purchased a pass that allows me to see 13 films. Because of my busy schedule coming up, it's likely I'll only attend 11 at this point but fortunately 3 of the 13 films were free.

Here's what I have booked:

Sleeping With Other People

The Spiderwebhouse

Being 14

Seymour: An Introduction

Prophet's Prey

The Assassin

Sworn Virgin

The Diary of a Teenage Girl

3 1/2 Minutes, Ten Bullets

She's Beautiful When She's Angry

How To Change The World

Tea Time

At this point in time I feel I am most looking forward to seeing the documentaries I have chosen - especially She's Beautiful When She's Angry, which looks really promising.

Stay tuned for some rusty but excitingly written reviews.
